More than
relaxation
At Revive, massage is a therapeutic practice — not just a luxury. Every session begins with a conversation about where you are holding tension, what your body needs, and what outcome you are looking for. Your therapist then designs the session entirely around your response.
We work with a range of techniques drawn from Swedish, deep tissue, and targeted therapeutic modalities, adjusting pressure, pace, and focus as the session progresses. Whether you need full-body relaxation, targeted muscle work, or recovery support, your therapist adapts in real time to give your body exactly what it needs.
The result is not just an hour of feeling good. It is a measurable shift in how your body feels, moves, and recovers — effects that extend well beyond the treatment room.
What we offer
Every session is customized. These are the core techniques our therapists draw from.
Swedish Massage
The foundational therapeutic massage. Long, flowing strokes warm the tissue, improve circulation, and guide the nervous system into a deep parasympathetic state. Ideal for stress relief, general tension, and clients new to massage therapy.
Deep Tissue Massage
Sustained, targeted pressure applied to the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Designed to break down adhesions, release chronic tension patterns, and address areas of persistent tightness or restricted mobility.
Prenatal Massage
Adapted for the unique needs of pregnancy, prenatal massage relieves the physical discomforts of carrying — including back pain, hip tension, swelling, and fatigue — using safe positioning and gentle, supportive techniques.
Why massage
matters
Releases Muscle Tension
Targeted pressure and movement break up adhesions and knots in muscle tissue, restoring length, flexibility, and ease of movement that accumulates from daily stress and activity.
Reduces Stress Hormones
Massage measurably lowers cortisol and adrenaline while increasing serotonin and dopamine, creating a biochemical shift in how your nervous system responds to stress long after the session ends.
Improves Circulation
Stimulating blood and lymphatic flow delivers fresh oxygen and nutrients to fatigued tissue while accelerating the removal of metabolic waste and inflammatory byproducts.
Supports Recovery
Whether recovering from intense training, injury, or a demanding week, regular massage shortens recovery time by reducing inflammation, restoring range of motion, and accelerating tissue repair.
Improves Sleep
By activating the parasympathetic nervous system and reducing physical tension, massage creates the ideal conditions for deep, restorative sleep — with effects that often last for several days.
Reduces Chronic Pain
Consistent massage therapy is one of the most evidence-supported non-pharmaceutical interventions for chronic pain conditions including lower back pain, neck tension, and headaches.
What to expect
Intake & Intention
Your therapist reviews your health history and listens to what your body needs before designing your session.

You'll have privacy to undress to your comfort level and get situated on the table. Draping ensures you are comfortable throughout.
The Work
Your therapist works methodically through the areas you discussed, adjusting pressure and technique based on how your body responds.
Leave Restored
Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes. Take your time getting up. Most clients feel a profound sense of ease and lightness for hours to days afterward.
Common questions
How often should I get a massage?
For general wellness and stress management, once or twice a month is ideal. For chronic pain, injury recovery, or athletic training, weekly sessions may be recommended initially. Our therapists will advise a cadence based on your specific goals and how your body responds.
How much pressure should I expect?
That is entirely your choice. We ask about your pressure preference before every session and encourage you to communicate during the massage as well. Our therapists are trained to work effectively across the full spectrum from very light to firm, and will adjust immediately if anything feels uncomfortable.
What should I do after a massage?
Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol, and give your body time to rest if possible. Light activity is fine but avoid intense training for 24 hours after deep tissue work. Some clients experience mild soreness the day after a deep tissue session, which is normal and typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours.
Can I combine massage with other Revive services?
Absolutely. Massage pairs powerfully with infrared sauna, which warms and loosens tissue beforehand making the massage more effective, and lymphatic drainage, which helps clear the waste mobilized during bodywork. Ask our team about combination sessions.
Are there any contraindications?
Massage is not recommended over areas of active inflammation, open wounds, blood clots, or certain skin conditions. Please disclose your full health history at booking and let your therapist know of any recent injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions. We are happy to modify sessions safely for a wide range of needs.
